The wires are a little stiff I bought these for my 2 Proto X. They were easy to install, but the wires were a little stiff and thicker than the original wires. It took a little time to loosen them up so the battery would not pull away from the board. that is why 4 starts and not 5. There is mounting tape right on the batteries, which I liked. If you have a Proto X, these are a great replacement and worth buying.

but they show a full charge and look fine otherwise. I’m using a HiTek X1 and charging … I’m only getting about 1.5 minutes of flight time before the lights on the Proto X start blinking compared to 3.5 to 4 minutes with the original battery. Not sure what is up, but they show a full charge and look fine otherwise. I’m using a HiTek X1 and charging them in parallel.

Yes! Batteries for the Estes Proto X. Although the battery in the Proto X is not designed to be swapped out after every flight like many small quadcopters, with care, it *can* indeed be easily replaced when necessary. (no soldering required)
