Up for auction is this Phantom 2 Vision +. It has been tested and details are provided below Average Cost for a Phantom 2 Vision + is $1,200 Here are the exact details on this item. This item is a Return from Amazon. For quite a while I could not figure out why it may have been returned. The Phantom was tested to fly successfully (a quick test inside). I finally got to the point where I synced up the Phantom to my smartphone using the Phantom App. It connected with no issues whatsoever. The camera also displayed video to my smartphone. A message appeared on the smartphone screen which says: “Gimbal Motor Error. Check for obstructions”. I had now determined the reason why the quadcopter had been returned. I took two screenshots from my smartphone so you could see the display. One shows the Quadcopter at rest, the other shows the quadcopter in flight inside the house. Please note: the gimbal error only relates to the video camera, not the quadcopter itself. Basically I had determined that while pretty much all of the functions work, and that the quadcopter is in great condition, it was returned due to a gimbal error. However, I soon found something that may relate to the Gimbal Error: I’m pretty thorough and was looking through all the packaging in preparation of putting all the items back in the box. I felt something on the inside flap of the box and when I pulled it out it was a small piece still sealed in plastic. The label for this little piece says: Gimbal Laver (I took a photo of this item). I don’t know enough about this quadcopter to say that this piece (the Gimbal Laver) is the reason for the Gimbal Error but it stands to reason that it may be related. This unit is being sold with the understanding that the video camera displays video but has an issue related to the video camera gimbal. I took photos of all the items included with the Phantom with the exception that four additional propellers are included (for a total of 8). All sales are final for this unit.
