Good Company, Good Quad, But … Two Good Things About This Quad: 1) Flies Very Well right out of the box, at normal elevations. Very Reliable in Smart Mode for aerial photography*. Very Solid holding hover at lower elevations. I have flown my 350 at 600 feet, where it flew like a champ, and at 5,400 feet, where it flew but was obviously trying a lot harder and was less stable. Horizon should perhaps offer a four-blade prop option for altitudes above 3,500 feet? 2) The Tech Support from Blade/Horizon…

Great quad, some beginner features with advanced & video options This is a good solid quad that has some good beginner functions and a full advanced mode for acrobatic flying.Here and now I want to say be wary of the stock props, I’ve lost two quads to the stock props. The “A” props have been recalled for falling apart. The replacement “B” props re slightly reinforced but still have some failure rates. Now I Horizon Hobby (Owner of Blade) took care of me and the issue at the cost of shipping but I don’t think that they quite have it resolved…

First and foremost, the instructions SUCK! This is not a $5 toy. For the cost of this thing you would expect a descent manual. All I can say is what a let down. I spent days chasing the Tech department down to tell me how to even start the thing.Also, you can completely IGNORE all the videos that show this thing practically flying itself. I’ts a hand full at best. Mine doesn’t always respond to radio input, so now I’m afraid every time I go to use it. All of my flights have been less than…
